A private holiday home on Lake Koirajärvi in Ranua. A place for time together, days outdoors and quiet moments by the water.
Our house is called Mökki Tikka. In Finnish, mökki means a cottage or cabin, and tikka means woodpecker – so the name roughly translates as “woodpecker cottage”.

The cabin
Two saunas, a hot tub, a canoe and a rowing boat let you spend your days at your own pace. Winter brings opportunities for snowshoeing and ice fishing; summer is for the lake and forests. When conditions are right, you may see the Northern Lights.
