Prices and conditions

Prices vary by season and do not depend on the number of guests. Recommended maximum: 10 guests, or 8 in winter.
Minimum stay: 3 nights.
Groups passing through, for example on a snowmobile tour, may stay for 1 night. Price on request.

Included

Rowing boat and canoe with life jackets.
Hot tub available year-round.
Three pairs of snowshoes; more on request.
Two ice skates and two backcountry skis.
Potkukelkka, a traditional kicksled.
Electricity and utilities.
Household supplies and basic food items, with a replacement arrangement.
Firewood for the sauna and fireplace.

Good to know

We recommend a rental car. A taxi from Rovaniemi Airport costs approximately €290. A rental car with transfer can be arranged; please request a quote. Parties are not allowed: Mökki Tikka is a place for rest and quiet.

A personal stay

We help you plan your holiday. The house stands on a quiet peninsula with privacy and direct access to the lake for fishing, boating and time outdoors, with modern comforts and space for families.

Holiday planning with Alexandra

Tell me what you would like to do and I can suggest a personal weekly programme with outdoor activities, time to relax, local food and encounters with local people. On request, I also research flights, suggest rental cars and plan interesting stops along your route. You book directly with each provider, without mark-ups or hidden commissions.
