Discover Lapland with a clear plan
Travelling to a remote northern region can feel daunting, whether you come alone, with a friend or with a sister. My women’s holiday offer is for guests who would appreciate help with the practical arrangements and a clear person to contact.
Remote does not have to mean being left alone
Before the stay, we discuss arrival, shopping, activities and contacts. The level of organisation and support is agreed in advance. You know what is arranged and what you will be doing independently.
Finland has a reputation for respectful everyday interactions, but no destination is free of risk. Knowing your surroundings and having a realistic plan matters more than a blanket promise of safety.
Winter: clothing, cold and daylight
We prepare for the actual season, including cold weather and limited daylight. I can help you think through clothing and planning before you travel. The house provides a warm base; outdoor plans still depend on conditions.
Summer: nature and mosquitoes
Mosquitoes are present in summer, with numbers varying by location and weather. Suitable clothes, protection and choosing breezier places can help. Local knowledge makes planning easier, without pretending that nature is predictable.
No test of courage or fitness
This is not about proving that you can manage everything alone. Tell me what you would like to do and where you would welcome support. Age, confidence and preferred pace are part of that conversation.
The offer is for women travelling alone, with a friend or sister, or in a small group who want a clear framework for discovering Lapland. Contact me to discuss what fits you.
