Santa Claus Golf Club in Rovaniemi is only a few minutes from the city centre. Its 18-hole Ounasvaaran Golfpuisto course runs through hilly woodland and welcomes beginners and experienced golfers. Reindeer sometimes cross the fairways.
In June and July you can play around the clock. In winter the course becomes a nine-hole snow golf course, with “whites” instead of greens and sleds instead of trolleys. Winter golf is offered from February to April.
