Our heart project is more than just a vacation home – it is a retreat for those seeking peace and a genuine connection with nature.
“Mökki” means house in nature in Finnish, and ‘Tikka’ means woodpecker – symbolic of the bird diversity that surrounds our vacation home.
Finnish Lapland
When you come to Finnish Lapland, not only untouched nature and endless expanses await you, but also unforgettable experiences.
In winter, you can glide on skis through snowy forests or experience the silence of the wilderness on a dog sledding trip. The Northern Lights dance over the lake while you relax in the warm sauna.
In summer, you can paddle a canoe across crystal-clear lakes, hike under the midnight sun or cast your fishing rod into healthy waters teeming with fish.

Mökki Tikka
Mökki Tikka is a unique retreat in the municipality of Ranua, right on the Arctic Circle. The house is located on a secluded headland, surrounded by 12,000 m² of private land and with direct access to the quiet Lake Koirajärvi, which is full of fish – an ideal place for peace and privacy. You can relax in the classic indoor sauna or enjoy the traditional wooden sauna right on the water. The surrounding area invites you to fascinating wildlife and bird watching, while you enjoy the silence and unspoiled nature.
