ATV Adventure – Explore the Wilderness of Lapland on Your Own

Explore the snowy forests, lonely country lanes, frozen lakes, and the surroundings of the small village of Impiö at your own pace. With the Can-Am Outlander 570 Max, you’ll not only enjoy driving fun but also a safe and comfortable ride – approved for two people with a top speed of 60 km/h.

Prices:

• 4 hours: €180 (incl. 1 tank of fuel)

• 8 hours: €250 (incl. 1 tank of fuel)

Important:

• Prerequisite: Class B driving license.

• Insurance included – excess in the event of damage: €1000.

Private ice fishing tour – your winter adventure on the lake

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours

Description:

Experience the silent magic of ice fishing on a frozen lake. Usually, the tour takes us to Lake Simojärvi, where a cosy hut on the small island of Lamanginsaari forms our base camp. Alternatively, depending on the weather, we choose a different suitable lake or pond together.

We drill holes in the ice, lower our fishing lines into the depths and enjoy the incomparable tranquillity of the Lappish winter landscape. We prepare the caught fish freshly over an open fire – or smoke them hot if you wish. And if we don't catch anything, we will of course still provide you with a warming and tasty snack.

In rough weather, we will find a sheltered place for our fire – warm, safe and still very close to nature.

Important: Please bring enough warm clothes – the dry cold is part of the real Lapland experience.

Description:

Together we will go to one of the surrounding lakes, where we will place a traditional fishing net under the ice under expert guidance – a calm, almost meditative experience that is deeply rooted in Finnish culture.

With a little luck, we will pull fresh fish out of the net, which we will hot-smoke on the spot. And if the net remains empty, we will not go hungry: warmth, stories and hot drinks are guaranteed.

Should the weather turn bad, we will provide a sheltered place with a fireplace – for cosy breaks in the middle of the wilderness.

This tour takes you through the snow-covered region around Impiö – past forests covered in deep snow, over frozen moors and quiet paths. If we happen to come across a slope, we will sled like crazy.

We light a fire at a suitable place, warm ourselves with hot drinks, sizzle sausages and bake pancakes – outside, under the open sky. And if the sky darkens or the wind picks up, we find a sheltered spot for our campfire so that the warmth remains and the adventure continues.
